God's Message of Love
God Almighty has a wonderful message of love for you! About 2,000 years ago God became a man in the person of Jesus Christ, He lived a perfect sinless life, and then voluntarily went to the cross of Calvary to die for your sins, then He was buried, and three days later resurrected from the dead (I Corinthians 15:3,4). No greater act of love has ever been displayed by mankind. Jesus Christ offers you freely the forgiveness of sins and eternal life.
Friend, do you know if you are going to heaven when you die? You may say you are because of your good works, but good works can’t get you to heaven. God sees our good works as filthy rags (Isaiah 64:6). You see in order for you to go to heaven you would have to be perfect and without sin. Sin is missing the mark on God’s perfect standard. Right now at this moment God sees you guilty of sin, headed to hell when you die, but your ONLY hope is Jesus Christ. Simply follow the steps to see what YOU must do to get to heaven.
1) Friend, you must realize that you are a sinner. God is Holy and we have fallen short of His perfect standard. Our sin separates us from God. If we paid for our own sins, it would be in hell for all eternity.
“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23)
“For there is not a just man upon earth, that doeth good, and sinneth not.” (Ecclesiastes 7:20)
“And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and lazarus in his bosom. And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.” (Luke 16:23,24)
“For the wages of sin is death.” (Romans 6:23)
2) God loves you so much that he became a man in the person of Jesus Christ and died for everyone of your sins (past, present, and future). Jesus Christ paid in full your sin debt on the cross with His own body and blood. On the cross Jesus said, “It is finished” (John 19:30). He doesn’t want you to perish in hell, but instead, He wants you to be saved (II Peter 3:9).
“How that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures.” (I Corinthians 15:3,4).
“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8)
3) Since good works can’t get you into heaven, Jesus Christ did all the work for you on the cross. In John 6:29 Jesus said, “This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.” God is inviting you to receive His free gift of eternal life, “And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely” (Revelation 22:17). Friend, your part is simple, right now will you put your trust in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for you sins, was burried, and rose from the dead? The moment you do, God forgives you of all your sins and gives you instantly eternal life and you can have the assurance that when you die, you will immediately go to heaven. Trusting Jesus Christ is a one time event and once you do, you can never lose your salvation (John 10:28,29). Share this message of love today!
